Standard Terms and Conditions of Travel Contracts
These travel conditions are part of the transaction terms and conditions document stipulated in Article 12-4 of the Travel Agency Law in Japan and the contract document stipulated in Article 12-5 of the same law.
1. Subscription Type Organized Tour Contract
- This tour is a subscription type organized tour planned, advertised and implemented by Kaze Travel Co., Ltd. (Registered Travel Agency No. 1382 with the Commissioner of the Japan Tourism Agency) (hereinafter referred to as "our company"), and guests participating in this tour will enter into the subscription type organized tour contract (hereinafter referred to as the "tour contract") with our company.
- The contents and conditions of the contract are governed by the "KAZE TRAVEL JAPAN" website operated by our company (hereinafter referred to as "KAZE website "), these travel conditions, the final itinerary provided to you before departure (which we call the "Tour Guide"), and the section of our travel agency terms and conditions regarding subscription type organized tour contracts (hereinafter referred to as "our terms and conditions").
2. Application and completion of contract
A reservation will be accepted only if the customer applies for a reservation on the KAZE website and pays the full travel cost by credit card. However, the travel contract is not finalized until our company accepts the reservation. The travel contract will be concluded when the company issues a notice of acceptance of the reservation and the notice reaches the customer.
3. Tour costs
(1) Tour costs are displayed for each course. It varies depending on the departure date, number of participants using the tour, etc.
(2) The "tour cost" is the basis for calculating the "cancellation fee" in 11.1, the "penalty fee" in 11.2, and the "change compensation" in 18.1. The " tour cost " on the KAZE website is calculated as the "amount displayed as the tour cost" plus the "amount displayed as the additional fee" minus the "amount displayed as the discounted fee."
(3) Child and senior prices may be set depending on age. In that case, they will be displayed for each course.
4. Payment of tour costs
At the time of reservation, the full amount of the tour cost must be paid by credit card. However, if the tour is not conducted or the cancellation is made before the "Cancellation Fee" in 11.1 is incurred, the full amount will be refunded.
5. Credit card payments,
(1) Credit cards that can be used for payments are limited to those in the name of the user (if the person making the reservation is different from the person participating in the trip, this refers to the person making the reservation; the same applies hereinafter in this chapter).
(2) Users must not use someone else's credit card, enter false credit card information, or engage in any other conduct that our company deems inappropriate. Our company may seek compensation from the user for damages incurred as a result of such conduct.

6. Waiting list
We may not accept your reservation application or put you on the waiting list for cancellations due to full vacancy or other reasons.
7. Application Conditions
(1) Participation by persons under 18 years of age requires a written consent from a parent or guardian. Those under 15 years of age must be accompanied by a guardian.
(2) Those who are in poor health, use wheelchairs or other devices, have physical or mental disabilities, have food or animal allergies, are pregnant or may be pregnant, are accompanied by assistance dogs for the physically disabled (guide dogs, hearing dogs, assistance dogs), or require other special considerations must inform us at the time of application that they require special consideration for participation. (Even if any of these conditions occur after the tour contract is signed, participants must inform us immediately.) We will provide you with further information, if you notice any specific measures that will be required during the trip.
(3) If we receive a request as described in the preceding paragraph, we will respond to it to the extent possible and reasonable. In this regard, we may ask you about your situation and the measures that will be required, or ask you to provide them in written foam.
(4) In order to ensure the safety and smooth implementation of the trip, we may impose conditions such as the accompaniment of a caregiver or companion, the submission of a doctor's certificate, and changes to the content of some parts of the course. In addition, if we are unable to arrange the measures requested by the customer, we may refuse the application for the tour contract or cancel the tour contract. In principle, the customer shall cover the cost of special measures taken by us for the customer based on the customer's request.
(5) For trips with special conditions for participation, we may refuse participation if the gender, age, qualifications, skills, and other conditions of the participants do not match the conditions specified by our company.
(6) We may refuse participation if the customer makes violent or unreasonable demands against our company, or uses threatening words or violence in relation to transactions.
(7) We may refuse participation if the customer spreads rumors, damages the credibility of our company by fraudulent means or force, or interferes with our business.
(8) If we find that any participants are a member of an organized crime, have any connections with any organized crime group, or are a member of other anti-social forces, we may refuse the participation.
(9) As a general rule, we will not allow customers to go on separate trips at their own convenience. However, this may be possible under separate conditions depending on the course.
(10) If we determine that you may cause inconvenience to other customers or interfere with the smooth running of group activities, we may refuse your participation.
(11) We may refuse your application for other reasons related to our business operations.
8. Delivery of the contract document
As soon as the subscription type organized tour is concluded, we will deliver to the customer a contract document that describes the travel schedule, the contents of the travel services, the travel price, other travel conditions, and matters related to our responsibilities. The contract document will consist of our website or brochure, this travel conditions document, etc.
9. Delivery of the Final Itinerary
The final itinerary, including confirmed information on the meeting time and place, transportation to be used, accommodation facilities, etc., would be delivered to you no later than the day before the start of the trip. (As a rule, we will endeavor to deliver it between two weeks and seven days before the start of the trip, but this may not be the case during peak season.) However, if the application for the tour is made after the day that is seven days prior to the day before the start of the trip, we may deliver the final itinerary on the very day the tour starts.
10. What is included in the tour cost.
The itinerary includes the following items:
(1) Transportation fees and charges (economy class seat charges or business class seat charges if additional charges are received)
(2) Shuttle bus fees, etc. (bus or car charges for transportation, etc.)
(3) Sightseeing fees (bus fare, guide fee, admission fee)
(4) Accommodation fee (including room charges when two or more people use one room, tax, and service charges)
(5) Food and drink costs specified in the tour itinerary (including tax and service charges)
(6) Baggage transportation fees (within the weight, volume, and number of pieces that the airline specifies as free)
(7) Guide fee (trekking guide, etc.)
(8) Tour conductor expenses for courses accompanied by a tour conductor
In principle, the above expenses will not be refunded even if some of them are not used due to the customer's convenience.
11. Items not included in the tour cost
Items other than those listed in paragraph 10 are not included in the tour cost. Some examples are shown as below:
(1) Transportation costs to the meeting point and after the tour
(2) Excess baggage charges for domestic flights (for baggage exceeding the specified weight, capacity, and number)
(3) Laundry fees, telegram/telephone charges, and Wi-Fi service fees
(4) The gratuity for boys and maid in hotels and restaurants
(5) Any personal expenses including food and beverage and other personal expenses associated taxes and service charges
(6) Any optional tour fee that are only available to those who wish to participate
(7) Additional fares and fees imposed by transportation companies (e.g. fuel surcharge)
(8) Airport facility charges within Japan
(9) Medical expenses and rescue expenses for injuries and illnesses
12. Changes to the contents of the tour contract and changes to the price
(1) In the event of a natural disaster, war, riot, suspension of the provision of travel services by transportation and accommodation facilities, orders from government offices, provision of transportation services not in accordance with the original operation plan, or other events beyond our control, if this is unavoidable in order to ensure the safe and smooth implementation of the trip, we may change the tour itinerary, the contents of the tour services, and other contents of the subscription type organized tour contract (hereinafter referred to as the "contract contents"), explaining to the participants in advance the reasons why the event is beyond our control and the causal relationship with the event. However, in the case of an emergency and if it is unavoidable, we will explain the changes after the changes are made. In addition, the travel cost may be changed in conjunction with the changes.
(2) If the fares and charges of the transportation facilities used are revised significantly beyond the normally expected level due to significant changes in the economic situation, the tour cost may be changed. In the case of an increase, we will notify you before the 15th day counting back from the day before the start of the trip.
(3) If, in the case where the contract document specifies that the tour cost varies depending on the number of participants using transportation, accommodation, etc., and if the number of participants using the transportation, accommodation, etc. changes after the conclusion of the subscription type organized tour contract through reasons not attributable to us, we may change the amount of the tour cost in accordance with the contract document.
13. Cancellation fees related to Domestic Trip
